Medflix B.V. · KvK 92953042 · Latest version: September 2026

Article 1: Definitions

  • Medflix: The private limited company Medflix B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 92953042.
  • User: Any natural or legal person who signs up for and/or uses the Medflix platform.
  • Platform: The Medflix online e-learning environment on which accredited continuous education is offered.
  • Subscription: The agreement between Medflix and the User under which access to the Platform is granted for the agreed period.
  • Personal data: All information about an identified or identifiable natural person as provided when using the Platform.

Article 2: Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to any use of the Platform, to every subscription and to all legal relationships arising from them. Deviations from these terms are only valid if agreed in writing.

The agreement is concluded at the moment Medflix has confirmed the User’s registration in writing by email.

Article 3: Subscription and access

  • Medflix provides access to the platform through an annual subscription.
  • Medflix offers a free trial month. During the trial month, the User can cancel the Subscription at any time, free of charge and without giving a reason, via the account settings. If the User does not cancel in time, the trial month automatically converts into an annual subscription for a period of twelve months, at the subscription price applicable at that time.
  • No later than 7 days before the end of the free trial month, the User is informed by email about the transition to a paid subscription, the first upcoming payment and the option to cancel.
  • No later than 1 month before the end of the annual subscription, the User receives a reminder email about the upcoming payment, the renewal of the subscription and the option to cancel the subscription.
  • After the first year, the annual subscription converts into a monthly subscription with a notice period of one month. The User can cancel the subscription via the account settings on the platform.
  • During the subscription period, the User has unlimited access to all available courses within the Subscription, except for any restrictions that may apply to specific courses or content.
  • Courses cannot be purchased separately.
  • If the subscription is cancelled or the payment obligation is not met, access expires automatically at the end of the subscription period.

Article 4: Right of withdrawal

A User acting as a consumer has the statutory right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of registration without giving a reason. Medflix implements this through the free trial month: during the trial month, the User can cancel at any time, free of charge and without giving a reason, via the account settings (see Article 3), with the same effect as withdrawal. As long as the User has not cancelled the trial month and no payment has been made, withdrawal does not in practice arise.

Article 5: Payment

  • Subscription fees must be paid in advance via the available payment method (Mollie Payments).
  • Upon payment, the User receives an invoice by email.
  • The conditions for refunds in the event of early termination are set out in Article 9.
  • Payments are processed by a third party. Medflix is not liable for disruptions, incorrect amounts or failed transactions resulting from technical problems or errors at the payment service.
  • In the event of incomplete payments or failed transactions, Medflix reserves the right to temporarily block access to the platform until a correct payment has been received.

Article 6: Use of the platform

  • The User must keep their login details confidential and is responsible for all activities that take place under their account.
  • It is not permitted to copy, distribute or otherwise exploit Medflix content without written permission from Medflix.
  • Medflix makes every effort to obtain accreditation points from the relevant committees and ensures that points earned are processed in the applicable (quality) registers. The participant is responsible for correctly providing personal data, including the correct BIG number or membership number. Medflix is not liable for incorrect or incomplete data provided by the participant.
  • The User’s account is personal and may not be shared with third parties. If misuse or the sharing of login details is detected, Medflix reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account with immediate effect and without refund. Misuse includes, among other things, sharing login details, copying content without authorisation, or other activities that conflict with the Medflix terms.

Article 7: Liability

  • Medflix makes every effort to provide a well-functioning platform but cannot rule out temporary disruptions or interruptions.
  • Medflix is not liable for damage resulting from the use of the Platform, unless there is intent or gross negligence.
  • Medflix strives for an up-to-date and varied range of e-learnings. Nevertheless, the offering may (temporarily) be more limited or not fully meet the User’s expectations. Users cannot derive any rights from this. Medflix does not offer refunds or compensation based on individual preferences or expectations regarding content, unless there are serious shortcomings, at Medflix’s discretion.
  • Users are responsible for correctly entering and maintaining their account details. Incorrect data entry may result in accreditation points not being awarded correctly or in communication problems. Medflix is not liable for this.

Article 8: Privacy

Medflix processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. See our Privacy Statement for more information.

Article 9: Termination

  • The User cannot terminate the subscription early with a refund, unless agreed otherwise or in special circumstances (for example illness or other force majeure). Medflix will assess any such request reasonably.
  • In the first year, no refund is given on early termination of the subscription, unless there are special circumstances at Medflix’s discretion. After the first subscription year, a notice period of one month applies.
  • Medflix reserves the right to temporarily or permanently block the User’s account in case of misuse or breach of these terms, with due regard to Article 6.

Article 10: Complaints procedure

  • Complaints can be submitted in writing via info@medflix.nl.
  • Medflix handles complaints within a maximum period of 14 days and aims for an appropriate solution. Where necessary, the User receives an acknowledgement of receipt within 5 working days.

Article 11: Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are preferably resolved through consultation. If this is not possible, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district of Breda. The User has the right, within one month after Medflix has invoked this clause in writing, to choose to have the dispute settled by the court that is competent by law.
